This study is intended as an investigation of the features about gait movement in adolescents with Down Syndrome (DS), quantitative analysis of 10 adolescents with DS's gait movement were conducted. Compared to 9 participants with typical development, the participants with DS had the features of gait movement as follows; 1) the height of the tiptoe in the swing phase is low, and the knee joint is crooked when the heel touches ground. 2) the height of knee joint is hardly change in the swing phase. 3) the hip joint movement is unusual, 4) the movement of swing arms is slightly. 5) the length of stride is shortly. 6) the gait movement is slowly. 7) the gravity point is back when the heel touches ground. It is suggest that the quantitative analysis is beneficial in effectiveness measurement of Dohsa-hou for DS.
