桃源の理髪店 : 豊子愷と『草枕』 トウゲン ノ リハツテン : ホウ シガイ ト クサマクラ A Barber Shop in Shangri-La : the influences of Kusamakura on Feng Zikai's works 西槇, 偉 ニシマキ, イサム NISHIMAKI, Isamu 920.278 夏目漱石 『草枕』 豊子愷 「野外理髪処」 「胡桃雲片」 『縁縁堂続筆』 This paper aims to treveal the influences of Kusamakura (1906) of Natsume Soseki on the works of contemporary Chinese writer and painter Feng Zikai (1898-1975). In 1934, Feng wrote four essays based on the trips from his house in Shimenwan to Hangzhou city. Yewailifachu (An outdoor Barber Shop) is one of them. It humorously sketches a haircutting at the riverside from a ship. This essay shares the main motif and some expressions with the fifth chapter of Kusamakura. And, they both praise harmony with nature. But we can appreciate the picture by Feng himself with his text, that is a major characteristics of his essay. Moreover, in an essay entitled Hutaoyunpian (1932), Feng discovered the beauty of the rice cake. His comments echo those of Soseki's remarks about the sweet jellied adzuki-bean paste in Kusamakura. Even in his last years, Feng admired the theory of literature in Kusamakura, he retranslated this book, and it was one of his favorite books in his life.
