Several reports confirm that the intraarterial infusion chemotherapy is feasible for squamous cell carcinomas of the oral cavity. However, most case showed good local response, there were some poor prognosis groups. Therefore, we started our new protocol from 1999, in which the drug distribution is evaluated using an IVR-CT system and the chemotherapy is combined with medium-dose conformal radiation therapy.
