<dc:description>This study clarifies the factors affecting the sustainability of security volunteer groups who are continuing their activities.
The results of the study are as follows. The continuation of the activities is due to the high awareness of the participants of the activity groups. In addition, the crime prevention activities are sustainable because the local people understand these activities.
In conclusion, building a relationship that allows two-way exchange between the actors and the local residents, such as appreciation of the local residents for their activities and interest in crime prevention, leads to the continuation of the activities of crime prevention volunteer groups.</dc:description>
