| 内容記述 | Hans Jonas sought to clarify a practical relationship between philosophy and natural science in his bool, The Imperative of Responsibility (1979) to establish the new ethics. He thought that being had the purpose of keeping itself alive and it made variety a purpose in order to extend the difference between being and nonbeing. However, this concept of variety did not conform well to his ontology because he brought organicism into ontology directly without accommodating their differences. To make his theory consistent, the concept of variety should be accepted not as a positive purpose but as an object for being controlled. | |||||
