| 内容記述 | 本研究は従来のほめの効果研究で用いられてきた“personほめ”と“processほめ”の2水準の分類を再検討し，日常的なほめ場面で用いられるほめの分類を複数の観点から検討した． 幼児の養育者を対象に日頃のほめ調査を行い，ほめことばを含むエピソードとほめる際に大事にしていることについて自由記述で回答を求めた．「ほめことば」と「ほめの意図」の観点からデータをコーディングしカテゴリーを作成し，それぞれ4カテゴリーずつが抽出された． 分析の結果「ほめの意図」と「ほめことば」が連動していないことが明らかになったが，「結果よりも過程をほめる」という単純な2条件比較ではなく，ほめをとらえる観点をさらに検討する必要があると考えられた. |

| 内容記述 | There has been a comparative study of whether “person praise” or “process praise” is more effective, though in this study, it was reconsidered the classification of praise from multiple perspectives with praise episodes from daily situations. 124 caregivers of young children were answered following questions, 1) Daily praise episodes, especially praise words, 2) the considering points with praising. and asked them to freely write about episodes that include praise and what they consider important when giving praise. Their free answers were categorized in terms of “words of praise” and “intention of praise” and four categories were extracted for each category. The analysis revealed that the “intention of praise” and the “words of praise” were not linked. It was thought that it was necessary to further examine the perspective of understanding praise, rather than simply comparing “person praise” or “process praise” conditions. |
