| 内容記述 | Max Reger’s music shows one of the most advanced harmonic language in the late German Romantic music. Although his harmony and modulation technique carries enormously rich sonorities and surprising musical gestures, it seems that the repertoire is not often performed in Japanese music scene. It is one of the crucial keys to understand late German Romantic musical style to recognize the art of the complex harmony and modulation, which Reger greatly devoted in his compositions. This paper tries to introduce Reger’s harmonic language by analyzing the chordal progression and the ways of modulation in the first book of his “Sechs Walzer, op. 22 für Klavier 4 händig”. The objective is to consider if they are valuable teaching material for the piano learners and music students. | |||||||||||
