| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study is to conduct research of university students in teacher training to clarify the following : (1) Ideas on science inquiry and its preparation. (2) Knowledge for interpreting and explaining the natural phenomena encountered in inquiry. As a result of study, the following was revealed. (1) Students were aware of the need to prepare teaching materials, apparatus, and learning plans for inquiry. However, there seemed to be little awareness of the need to devise and select experimental methods, conduct preliminary experiments, and research on subject-matter of inquiry. (2) Cases that dealt with the phenomenon of ice meltinig led students to explain it using various knowledge, but there were few descriptions that could be explained logically using appropriate knowledge. Therefore, it was shown that the ability to extract factors related to natural phenomena and a conclusive understanding of knowledge for logical explanations are necessary to guide inquiry learning. | |||||||||||
