Annas suggests that while virtue bears similarities to skill, it is not inherently a skill, contrasting with Stichter's assertion that virtue constitutes a skill. Furthermore, Annas defines virtue as a character trait, whereas Stichter challenges this characterization. Both philosophers agree that virtue requires practical wisdom (phronesis) but do not classify practical wisdom as a skill. Additionally, they share the view that skill does not fall under the category of character traits. Building upon these distinctions, this paper contributes to the ongoing discourse on virtue and skill by proposing that virtue encompasses elements of skill and introducing the maximal and juridical concepts of virtues. It explores the possibility of developing "virtue as a character trait" based on Annas' model from Stichter's skill model of virtue."}, pages = {22--46}, title = {徳と技能について}, volume = {18}, year = {2024}, yomi = {タナカ, トモヒロ} }
