This study explored intergenerational differences in school environments that contribute to the acceptance of diversity. Specifically, it was examined the impact of experiences with diverse individuals, educational opportunities promoting understanding of diversity, and diversity-sensitive facilities in elementary, junior high, and high schools. A questionnaire survey was administered to 400 high school students and 600 adults. The results indicated that teenagers showed higher levels of diversity awareness and behaviors, potentially influenced by their school environments. These findings highlight the importance of inclusive education and diversity-promoting environments in shaping positive attitudes towards diversity across generations. |
