| 内容記述 | This paper compares three surveys conducted between December 2022 and July 2023 to analyze changes in social norms related to COVID-19. The degree to which respondents reported wearing masks in places such as parks, streets, and shopping centers decreased over time, regardless of whether there were descriptions of others wearing masks or not. However, as of July 2023, many people still indicated that they would wear a mask and did not immediately change their behavior after the official standard was relaxed. The timing and extent of the decline over time in the degree to which people thought they would wear a mask and the degree to which they reacted to those who did not wear a mask differed from place to place. Furthermore, the degree to which people thought they would wear a mask was also influenced by factors such as consideration of reactions to people not wearing masks and anxiety about COVID-19. We used a discretechoic experiment to investigate people’s evaluations of the various anti-COVID measures in restaurants and found that the evaluations declined over time. The influence of gender and age, as well as the influence of anxiety about COVID-19, affected the evaluations. Thus, social norms related to COVID-19 do not change immediately with a change in official standards alone but are intricately intertwined with people’s attitudes and feelings, as well as environmental factors. | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | 本稿では，2022年12月から2023年７月にかけて実施された３回のマスク着用と飲食店の新型コロナ対策に関するアンケート調査を比較し，社会規範の変化を分析した。マスク着用についてのサーベイ実験では，公園，道，ショッピングセンターといった場所や他者のマスク着用の有無に関係なく，回答者がマスクを着けると思う度合いは時間の経過とともに低下した。ただし，2023年７月の時点でも，多くの人がマスクを着けると思うと回答しており，公的な基準の緩和後も即座に行動を変えたわけではなかった。また，マスクを着けると思う度合いやマスク不着用者への反応の度合いの時の経過による減少の時期や程度は，場所ごとに異なっていた。さらに，マスクを着けると思う度合いには，マスク不着用者への反応の考慮や新型コロナへの不安等も影響を与えていた。飲食店の新型コロナ対策についての離散選択実験では，対策への人々の評価は時が経つにつれ低下した。性別や年代の影響や新型コロナへの不安の影響がこうした評価に影響していた。このように，新型コロナの流行における社会規範は，公的な基準の変更だけでは即座に変化せず，人々の意識や感情，そして環境的な要因等が複雑に絡み合っている。 | |||||||||||
