| 内容記述 | In line with the trend toward ‘curriculum open to society', Technology and Home Economics (Home Economics) in junior high school aim to enhance ‘life challenges and practices' that foster collaboration with families and communities. This study examines Home Economics lesson plans for junior high school on'challenges and practices related to family and home life'that address local issues in Ozu Town, Kumamoto Prefecture, where the number of foreign workers is increasing significantly. Based on a survey of local issues at Ozu Town Hall and other institutions, we designed lessons to promote multicultural coexistence through projects such as: 1) creating a Spanish version of the garbage disposal handbook, 2) researching and promoting mutual understanding on local specialties and food cultures in China, Taiwan, and Vietnam, and 3) interacting by cooking ‘sweet potato dumplings' using Ozu Town's local ‘Karaimo,' and so on. | |||||||||||||||||
