| 内容記述 | These findings indicate that the intestine markedly contributes to first-pass hydrolysis of prodrug and CESs mainly involves in the hydrolysis in the jejunum and ileum as well as liver. The expression level of CES isozymes is slightly varied according to age and intestinal region. Design of an orally administrated prodrug will be successful by controlling the CES mediated intestinal hydrolysis. |
