Tao finished this novel while he was a student of medical school. The leading character named "Ye" had a dream at the end of the novel. Both the connection of this dream with Freud's dream interpretation and the psychological description of "Ye" was analyzed. The result gave us an opportunity to infer how Tao made the most use of the thinking faculty of a natural scientist by describing the dream elaborately. In addition, Tao also wrote another novel, "THE LINGERING SPRING" in which the same theme of the dream as "GANNPI" was described. Although the motif of both literary works was same, we are able to clarify the differences of them from the relationship of reality and dream as well as the literary creation and the private life of the author own.}, pages = {381--395}, title = {陶晶孫と精神医学 : 「剪春蘿」をめぐって}, volume = {6}, year = {2008}, yomi = {リョウ, リピン} }
