| 内容記述 | Acts by medical staff and patients in clinical settings are performed under great uncertainty and therefore possess features of gambling. In fact, self-determination has some features of gambling though they often go unnoticed. Entirely certain conditions\ rarely exist. There are almost or partially certain conditions but even in these cases, it is difficult to predict what will happen exactly. However we decide and act under uncertainty in everyday life. The features of gambling are clearly manifested in clinical acts for matters regarding life and health must be decided on with risks in mind. Although there have not been much discussions on acts from the perspective of gambling features, this point of view would provide slightly different discussions from traditional theories of acts on issues of akrasia. |
