A編}, month = {Mar}, note = {application/pdf, 論文(Article), A direct method of measuring bridging stresses using a double notched plate (DNP) specimen is developed. Bridging stresses are measured form the stable fracture of the DNP specimen using a bridging stabilizer developed in this study. The opening displacement of fracture surfaces can be evaluated from the deformation of the bridging stabilizer without the need for microscopic measurement. As an example application, the bridging stresses of polycrystalline alumina are measured under monotonic load. The bridging characteristics measured using the present method are compared with those obtained by other methods.
