| 内容記述 | 近代化には工業が大きな役割を果たすこと、その工業の発展には優秀な技術者の存在が不可欠であり優秀な技術者を大量に生み出すには、高等教育が必要であることから、本研究では熊本の明治期における工場建築と工業教育建築に焦点を当て、それらの建物の持つ建築的特徴及びその建設経緯を解明し、熊本県の近代建築の歴史の一端を明らかにすることを目的とする。 | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | This study concerns modern industrial architecture in Kumamoto prefecture in the Meiji era, which forms part of the field of modern architecture. Meiji industrial architectural structures are recently attracting considerable attention as industrial heritage sites. The author thinks that the study of modern architecture sites in the industrial field is important to learn the development of architectural technology which supported the modernization of Japan. | |||||||||||
