 note = {We evaluated the importance of the work of a child-welfare consultation center and the actual situation of child abuse in Kumamoto. The results are described below. 
1)The prevention of child abuse is an important role of a child-welfare consultation center. But when a child-welfare consultation center acquires some information about child abuse,most of the mothers are already coldhearted to their child.
2)Many of the cases of child abuse occur to the children who are less than three years old,and most of them occur especially when the mothers are living with their lover.
3)Forming the stronger attachment between a mother and a child in early pregnancy is the most important measure to prevent child abuse.
4)A midwife is engaged in the work capable of promoting the attachment in early pregnancy of the mothers.
The results suggest that a midwife can play an important part in the prevention of child abuse., 本研究は、熊本県における児童虐待の実態および児童虐待防止に対する児童相談所の役割を調査・検討し、その結果より、児童虐待予防に関する助産師の職責について考察した。},
