| 内容記述 | The purposes of this paper are 1) to examine the contents of All My Money : A Financial Management Curriculum for Persons Working with Limited-Resource Audiences, published by University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign,in the United States, and 2) to consider the effective learning method of the introduction of consumer skills including planning of income into the homemaking education in junior high school in Japan. For these purposes, 1) we devised the teaching materials and stages of the learning process for the development of consumer skills including planning of income/spending, on the bases of All My Money, and 2) we examined their effects by introducing them in a real class in junior high school on Japan. The results are as follows : 1) It is possible to introduce our new teaching materials, labelled "Shopping game" as an introduction,"activity: ways to increase income to meet short-term needs,"activity : ways to spend less." These teaching materials are based on All My Money, which we modified in order to fit the actual state of Japanese junior high school students, into the homemaking education in junior high school in Japan. 2) It is necessary to improve learning activities in small groups in order for them to heighten students' will to study. 3) We hope to devise other teaching materials on family/personal finance for high school students in the near future. |
