By analyzing the results obtained, the confidences of the pseudopotentials used are checked. The transverse effective charges have been also calculated. The result suggests the importance of effective valence and effective number of valence electrons in the evaluation of this quantity. Among the binary compounds considered, special emphases have been given to superionic materials.
