| 内容記述 | 筆者も、熊本大学教育学部で社会科教育を専攻とする学生たちを対象に、法関連施設を利用した当別授業を企画してきた。法実務の現場を体験し、いずれ社会科見学の教材に参考としてもらえればよい、といった程度の単純な発想から始めた取り組みだったが、2000年度以降、演習も含めて見学に出かけた先は、熊本市内だけでもリデル・ライト両女史記念館、地方裁判所、刑務所、県庁、地方検察庁、県の消費生活センターに及ぶ。また、2004年度から2006年度にかけて、司法書士による特別講義を、今年度は熊本地方裁判所の「出前口座」を利用させていただいた。本報告ではそのなかから、2007年度の取り組み例について紹介し、どのように発展させていけば教員養成に結び付けていくことができるのかを考えるための素材の一つとしたい。 | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | The promotion of law-related education in primary, junior high, and high schools has become increasingly important as a popular base of the new justice system reform, which requires everyone to take an active part in the justice system. For example, the Ministry of Justice established study groups, some results of which are teaching materials and several conferences, among others. However, educational methods in the field of law-related education within the teacher training faculty seem to have been overlooked. This report outlines an approach to put together an appropriate legal education program for a teacher training course, introducing lectures provided by the Kumamoto District Court, prepared for public relations, on the citizen judge system in criminal proceedings. Furthermore, it aims to provoke discussion and suggestions questionnaires and comments submitted by students, it became clear that the majority of them had a better understanding and thought more about the citizen judge system than they had previously. On the other hand, few of them seemed to be aware of the necessity of lectures for teacher training. More interdepartmental cooperation among staff is necessary in order to train future teachers in this field. | |||||||||||
