In this study, cultural activities mean the study and promotion of "Kasuga Boubura", one of traditional pumpkins in Kasuga, Kumamoto City. As part of promotional activities, they created "Kasuga Boubura Ondo". For creating it, ICT was used so as to compose the music without music theory or techniques. Utilizing the functions of ICT for adjusting and checking sound, they engaged in composition. Then, a piece of music was produced by combining good points of their works. The children emphasized "easy-to-sing melody", and examined it. Then, they found that the easy-to-sing feature is related to rhythm and melody.
