This current study examines the social enterprise as a business model. In order to become a major business enterprise in the society, it is necessary to have not only innovative concepts but also a business model that serves as its structure and process. This will allow it to tum ideas into specific products and services. This study argues that it is crucial for a social enterprise to have a sound business model in order to accomplish its purpose and contribute to society.
