HRP gave a redox wave around -0.3 V (vs. Ag/AgCl) at pH 8,which was due to heme of the HRP adsorbed on the electrode : HRP(Fe^<3+>)_ +e→HRP(Fe^<2+>)_. The addition of H_2O_2 to the HRP solution induced a catalytic reduction current at thc electrode around -0.4 V at pH 8 ; larger catalytic currents were obtained in acidic solutions. This catalytic reduction of H_2O_2 can be given as 2HRP(Fe^<2+>)_+H_2O2+2H^+→2HRP(Fe^<3+>)_+2H_2O, where the catalytic reduction took place favorably through the reduction of heme in HRP. but not through the free heme moiety dissociated from HRP., http://ci.nii.ac.jp/naid/110002907247}, pages = {859--861}, title = {カーボン電極上でのペルオキシダーゼの電子移動反応(<特 集>表面・界面・薄膜と分析化学)}, volume = {40}, year = {1991} }
