| 内容記述 | Electron paramagnetic resonance of Cr(III) in a single crystal of [Co(NH3)6]I3 has been investigated at 9.4GHz and at room temperature. Reproducting of observed angular dependence of resonance field, linewidth and shape has been made by superposing fine structure lines. These lines are the allowed transition (S=3/2, ⊿Ms=±1) lines of Cr(III) situated in three inequivalent Cr(NH3)6 complexes whose assumed tetragonal crystal field has its principal axis along one of the cubic crystal axes. Anisotropic linewidth of each fine structure line is assumed to be due to a distribution in the value of the zero field splitting parameter D and to fluctuation in the direction of the crystal field axis. Results of the superposition of fine structure lines are in good agreement with the observation. Inconsistency, however, remains in the estimation of the distribution width of D value. | |||||
