| 内容記述 | The purpose of the present study is to establish the facilitation effects of some training procedure on children's counting of the difference in the numbers of objects between two sets. In the experiment, thirty preschool children were showed five white balls and three red ones, and then, were asked the standard question (pretest): "How many more white balls are there than the red ones? The majority of children could not pass the pretest. So, the experimenter tried to teach them how to solve such problems as just cited above. Three, at least, out of seventeen children who eventually passed the posttest, seemed to learn how to solve the problem as a result of their experience of counting the extra elements which were added by them to one of the two sets originally balanced in their numbers of elements. | |||||||||||
