For this purpose, among the 812 1st year students of junior high schools in Tokyo were chosen and administered the questionnaire. The data were analysed by statistically, especially to make clear the difference of area and that of sex. The results were as follows; 1. It was found the area difference in many items, especially it was thought home environment has a great influence in studying \"Food 1\". 2. The girls differed from the boys on the demand for techniques. The girls cooked more frequently at home than boys. In organizing the form of cooking-training groups, the sexual difference was also shown. 3.
