| 内容記述 | A vocational technical school began offering health consultation service through, its health center in 1990. From the variety of services offered this thesis will focus on various approaches to sexual counseling and will be discussed at length. The majority of counselees were women between the ages of eighteen and twenty. This thesis will consider three case studies involving pregnancy and how to improve counseling services to such women. The following points were observed. ① Counselees do not want to be criticised for being sexually active. (D Pregnant counselee relied heavily tend to depend on the counselor for direction in deciding for or against an abortion. (D The counselor's role is to encourage students to make their own decisions regarding their sexual behavior, after having had time to think through ail of the consequences. (D The couselor is periodically approached by the parents for advisor for support of the parent's position. Best results are obtained when the counselees' feelings are respected, and they are able to process their own decisions. c Although couselor need to support the right of the couselee to an abortion free from parental knowledge or consent, counselors need to strongly encourage them to discuss their situation with their parents. c In the event that the counselee choses to give birth, counseling needs to be directed toward delivery, child care, family and in some cases, marital relationship issues. | |||||
