| 内容記述 | As the teaching shape of industrial arts education was mainly the practical exercise. Teaching materials take as important role in industrial arts education. We investigated on history of teaching materials by the theory of H. Okayama's teaching materials and the relation between his teaching materials and teaching theme in industrial arts education. In this paper, we analyzed the H. Okayama's theory of teaching materials in craft education and investigated the relationship between teaching theme in craft education and the H. Okayama's teaching materials. As the result of the investigation, it became clear that his theory of teaching materials was influenced considerably by the educational properties of the sloyd of Scandinavia. Teaching materials of the sloyd of Scandinavia showed educational theme, and H. Okayama's theory of teaching materials was equal to teaching theme in craft education. | |||||
