The software of electronic album has been developed as a useful tool to foster children's literacies of information technology, IT. This software provides not only a photo album, but also an integrated album including digital contents such as audio and video. Therefore, through producing the electronic album, children must acquire unconsciously various abilities to use IT. In addition, the software has the capability to produce a map of trees in a school by using the database of trees. If children try to incorporate the map of trees into the album, they will be able to learn about trees across the subject of science, and the map will remind vividly them of the natural environment of school after graduation. |
