| 内容記述 | Negative effects of globalization with the advance of information and communications technologies have been widening an economic gap between urban and rural areas, and this economic gap became a serious social issue. Particularly, the impact of globalization hit lagging rural regions hard and caused a sharp decline in local economies recently. The purpose of this study was to examine the importance of three fundamental elements to solve the economic disparities in these lagging rural areas from the point of view of Information Economics. To begin with, the importance of historical backgrounds on the rise of emerging information technology industries is explained. And then, describe the local economy's industrial functions to promote regional information industries. Finally, stress about the significance of scheme creation to form a new alliance between local industry and information industry for revitalizing regional economy. | |||||||||||
