| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was （1） to investigate relation between enhancement of close friendship and the mental health of Japanese college students, and （2） to examine whether that relationship varied with student's scores on interdependent-independent construal of the self, and （3） to explore the process of enhancement. The results showed that both boys and girls evaluated "active enhancement" and "passive enhancement". And enhancement related positively to their subjective well-being. Whether the relation between enhancement and subjective well-being changed depending on extent from which interdependent or independent construal of the self was being internalized was examined. But a clear influence was not seen.There were differences between the sexes in the process of enhancement. | |||||
