| 内容記述 | Since the great earthquake on 11th March 2011, the media in Japan have paid much more attention to the survivors of the disaster than victims. This essay deals with one of the consequences of my previous essay concerning the enhancement of the significance of the life of disaster victims. I have already dealt with another consequence in the field of bioethics, while this essay treats the problems of environmental ethics, especially, (1) linkage among all the living things, and (2) responsibility to future generations. I will show that at the basis of the argument concerning the enhancement of the significance of the life of the dead lies the idea of ‘on’. By virtue of the idea ‘on’, we can turn the ecological relationships into ethical one, and we can also establish the intergenerational relationships associated with dialogues. In this way, this idea leads to reconsideration of those basic problems of environmental ethics. | |||||||||||
