They stepped forward, leftward, rightward, or kept still under a variety of combinations of the directions of body and face prior to the ratings. Experiment 1 showed that the apparent size was larger when both directions of body movement and face were toward TS that when the direction of the movement was toward TS, but that of the face, not, irrespective of the direction of the body. Experiment 2 showed that the apparent size was larger when both directions of the face and the body movement were the same than when not, irrespective of the direction of the body movement. The results demonstrated that Emmert's law applies to the distance cue produced by the body movement when face direction was compatible with that of the body movement, not when the direction was not.}, pages = {1--8}, title = {Emmertの法則に関わる身体運動による距離手がかりの意味 : 顔、身体、及び運動の方向}, volume = {104}, year = {2013}, yomi = {ワタナベ, イサオ and ヤマグチ, マユコ} }
