| 内容記述 | The theory of person was first criticized on the ethical grounds that it relied upon exclusivist logic that separates the human from the non-human. Later, the theory attempted to take up the concept of the human being as its object but this served only to invalidate its claims as the theory of person. In this paper, first I examine the nature of this "invalidity" of the theory as caused by the framework of the modern concept of personality. Second, using Kimura's theory of metanoesis as a reference, I examine the problems inherent in the modern concept of the personality such as individuality and static characteristics. Finally, I investigate the possibility and problems of the theory of metanoesis by comparing it to Bataille's theory of religion. | |||||||||||
