However, the patients have to continuously receive ART throughout their lives with maintaining more than 95% of the medication rate after starting ART. We have experienced a child case with which the informed consent of ART was not obtained from his father due\ to his naturalism although his immune status was deteriorating. The recently revised Civil Code enables to restrict parental authority when they inappropriately refuse medical treatment of their children.
