But the situations of our using are not so good, and we tackled to make bicycle parking areas much user-friendly, as the first step toward to improve these states. We conducted interviews, counted the number of bicycles, and experimented the means that we think can change the situation. For various reasons, we chose JR Suizenji station, which is in one of the worst conditions, As a result, two identified major causes of the situation are the lack of communication between the station and Kumamoto City, and the bad manners among users.
