M. Hare's ‘two level theory’and its recent revision have in relation to the power of judgment. The results are as follows : Hare’s main line of thought in Moral Thinking (1980) hardly seems to have any close relationship with the power of judgment or the narrative thoey. And yet it is suggestive that he counted ‘those common to particular roles’ and ‘those personal to individuals’ in subcategories of the moral principles of intuitive level and mentioned that ‘there are many more ways than one of being a saint, or even a moderately good man’. On the other hand, a recent revision of the two level theory called ‘unsettled-domain utilitarianism’ is worth notice in that it is obviously connected with the power of judgment in Kant's sense that can works both determinatively (when proper rules are given) and reflexively (when rules are to be found).}, pages = {53--62}, title = {倫理学における判断力の問題 (4) : R.M.ヘアの「二層理論」を中心に}, volume = {63}, year = {2014}, yomi = {ヤハタ, ヒデユキ and ヤハタ, ヒデユキ} }
