Logistic regression was conducted to assess what demographics, and perceptions and practices in daily lives were related to self-rated health status. The data were collected from male and female workers in their 20s and 30s at small companies located in Kumamoto as part of formative research for a langer project. The results using the data of 353 respondents indicated that perceptions of having support from bosses, of having not much stress from the private life, of having enough sleep, of being able to control over the time and energy for work, and of having the stable job improve self-rated health status. So does having own ways of stress management.
