| 内容記述 | This paper is a translation for Chapter 5 : Breaking the Cycles: The Journey to Healing and Security in The Little Book of Trauma Healing written by Carolyn Yoder. The chapter describes a way to break free the cycles, to heal the trauma, and to establish security at individual level as well as at community level. The first important step is establishing security. It would be helpful to make an inner safety space even when one's physical safety is not perfect. The next step is acknowlegement. First, we need to grieve, mourn, and name fear. Second, we need to acknowledge that the others also have their own stories. Once we notice that the others have stories, we recognize interdependence. The third step will be reconnection. We need to choose the path for forgiveness. We seek justice in restoratively and creatively, and finally we may reach reconciliation. | |||||
