| 内容記述 | Himanitude care for dementia patients, which involves the two concepts of attitude and method, refers to a respect for humanity, and it involves the teaching of caregiving techniques appropriate to this principle. However, literature on "humanitude" has a tendency of emphasizing the care method over the care attitude. This risks giving the impression that "humanitude" exclusively refers to the caregiving method. Therefore, this study examined the relation between the two concepts of care attitude and care method that "humanitude" encompasses. It concludes that because caring for dementia patients requires specialized techniques, there is a need for care methods that embody care attitudes. Finally, "humanitude" is considered to be a fitting concept of caring. | |||||||||||
