This old stone port is one of \"Meiji three important port\" and was selected as the UNESCO's world heritage \"Sites of Japan's Meiji Industrial Revolution: Iron and Steel, Shipbuilding and Coal Mining\". In this year, the authors carried out workshops for the preservation of cultural landscape and community development in the Misumi-nishi port as the regional study with students who are sixth grader of Misumi Elementary School, three times. In this study, it is aimed to analyze qualitatively about the indigenous knowledge and experiences that children acquired through the workshop which assumed understanding for the cultural landscape preservation.
