Yunnan Province is known as the center of distribution of the species in China. As a result of the investigation, which was based on the specimens preserved in the herbarium of Kunming Institute of Botany (KUN), Academia Sinica, all of 27 habitats were limited to the northwestern region of the province. The actual circumstances of the habitat were surveyed in Dali. The trillium plants growing there resembled morphologically the T. tschonoskii var. himalaicum Hara, which was found in the Himalayan region; the stameds being shorter than the pistil. Among those observed, the various growth stages were found as follows; budding or flowering individuals, no flowered ones with three-leaves, and infant one-leafed ones. And also, their plants mingled with Paris polyphylla var. yunnanensis. At the same time, it was found 29 species were found belonging to 15 families, e.g., five species of Rhododendron (Ericaceae) which forms the forest in Himalayan to Yunnan regions only.}, pages = {61--73}, title = {中国・雲南省におけるTrillium tschonoskii Maximowiczの分布と生育地の状況}, volume = {29(自然科学編)}, year = {1994}, yomi = {ウチノ, アキノリ and タカミヤ, マサユキ} }
