Suspended particle matter in the atmosphere is a complex mixture that consists of the various origins, thus it is related to the various study contents of the elementary school science. Therefore, PM2.5 can be studied by using the knowledge and skill acquired from than by studying the elementary school science. Moreover, because relations with the society are strong, PM2.5 is a suitable learning theme studying relating it to the regional characteristics and to the various elementary school subjects. In addition, PM2.5 is also a useful learning theme for cultivating the ability to collect solid information independently, and to make an appropriate decision making and to select the behavior.
