Kumamoto" (Let's not give up! Kumamoto) seen in the linguistic landscape following the Kumamoto Earthquake of April 2016. In this survey, 118 notices exhibiting reconstruction slogans were gathered from June 2016 to April 2018 from shopping districts in the center of Kumamoto city. An analysis of these notices led to the following conclusions: (1) over the year after the earthquake, the number of notices with reconstruction slogans decreased significantly, then slightly increased after a year, and again decreased gradually; (2) case studies of reconstruction slogans following the Great East Japan Earthquake exhibited similarities with the results of this survey, including the basic structure of the slogans as "verb+sentence-final expression+place name."}, pages = {45--56}, title = {熊本地震後の復興スローガン}, volume = {110}, year = {2019} }
