Furthermore, it portrays a state where communities, -through the reduction of their production base-, are autonomously striving for their continuation. It was revealed that, while such communities place great importance on efficiency, they have also, -with entirely different logic-, reduced rice cultivation in the name of fairness, and are striving for the restructuring of their communities. The active reduction of rice cultivation is a way to maintain a community and can be seen as an autonomous reorganization of said community.
