Kawabata Yasunari's novel "The Scarlet Gang of Asakusa" is placed at the beginning of the first volume "Modern Tokio Dance" of this series. In this paper, firstly, I will introduce the "World Metropolitan Jazz Literature" and clarify the characteristics of this series.
