 note = {After the 1980s, the number of foreigners coming to Japan soared. In particular, the number of foreigners coming to Japan for the purpose of studying abroad, international marriage and working abroad is increasing. Therefore, in various fields of study, the trend of foreigners and their relationship with foreigners and Japanese society are gradually increasing. In this paper, relevant studies on foreigners who have come to Japan since the 1980s are reviewed. The research results of sociology, immigration policy and other similar fields on foreigners in Japan are referred, and the research trends of geography on foreigners in Japan are sorted out. Finally, future research topics are proposed.},
