The sample comprised Yogo teacher training course students and students from other university courses. The intervention study group received a 12-minute lecture on infectious diseases focusing on infectious gastroenteritis caused by norovirus and how to dispose of vomit. To assess the impact of the educational program for infectious diseases, a knowledge assessment questionnaire was developed and administered before and after the educational program and two weeks after the lecture.
