According to previous studies, the \"decline\" of health center medical social work was caused by the weakness of health center social workers' efforts, the spread of only methodologies based on the theories of US medical social work, and the worship of modern medicine by the pioneers of prewar medical social work in Japan and social work educators at GHQ.
